Ruel James is widely known for his innovative powerful works of Contemporary Sculpture. His “Lady Anne” tables and “Water Baby” tables are two perfect examples. These are both “functional” pieces of modern sculpture. The bases of these tables actually protrude through their glass table tops at certain points. The glass can remain on, as a functional table, or be taken off with the base remaining just as a fine art sculpture. These tables are available in various finishes.
Another example of Ruel James’ modern sculpture are his 6 foot fountains. They are beautifully carved reliefs that the water flows over from top to bottom.
Ruel is also a figurative artist which is reflected in his very contemporary sculpture pieces of art. Many of these are approximately 2 feet in size, and are very dramatic pieces that radiate movement and emotion. These are all very exciting sculptures that would make a great addition to any collection; corporate or private.
